LGBTQ Population

There has been growing social and political acceptance of individuals whose gender and/or sexuality deviates from what is considered normal.  And yet, there is still an “otherness” that can exist.

For the most part, whoever you are, no matter your gender and sexuality, your individual story will carry trials and triumphs.  You will have had loss, you will have had sadness and joy, you will have had those relationships that have been loving and those that have been hateful.

Maybe your gender and sexuality have never felt like topics worth dwelling on, or maybe you have worked through what has been hard and are coming to therapy for a completely different reason.  If this is the case, there is no need to cover old ground.  But if there are fresh wounds or new territories, I want to support you in this exploration.  Whether this looks like questions of how to navigate being “out,” how to transition into a new stage of life, or how to support a loved one who themselves is struggling with identity, it is imperative to have someone who has experience with whom you can feel comfortable and understood.
